ATI to lead workshop for agri and fisheries sector

DAGUPAN CITY – The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) is holding a consultation–workshop on maximizing the services of the Farmers Contact Center  in Pangasinan.

Director Asterio Saliot of ATI said the center is a component of the Department of Agriculture’s electronic Extension (e-Extension ) program which started in 2010.

“To better improve and maximize its services, the ATI is coming up with a comprehensive communication and advocacy plan so that more farmers and other stakeholders in the agriculture and fisheries sector will be aware of FCC,” Saliot said.

He said the formulation of the communication and advocacy plan will be consultative and collaborative.

The workshop will be held at the Agricultural Training institute-Regional Training Center in Brgy Tebag, Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan  (VHS/PIA-1Pangasinan)
