SAN FERNANDO CITY, April 3 (PIA) — The City and Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Offices will have its own building in an area that is more accessible within the Government Center here.
Filipina Atabay, Penro information officer, said the 424 sq. meter-lot where the building will rise was provided by the provincial government under a lease agreement whereby the offices will pay P1 a year.
“The proposed building is in an area where majority of the government agencies are located. The offices will be more accessible to clients who transact with the Land Registration Authority which is a stone’s throw away,” she said.
Atabay said having their own building has been a dream of the agencies which had been leasing for 25 years.
The two-storey structure with a parking area shall be constructed by the Performance Builders and Developers Corp. The ground floor will be utilized by the Penro staff while the second level is intended for Cenro’s use.
Samuel Songcuan, provincial environment and natural resources officer, was credited for having worked for the provision of a building.
