Now on its second year, the MVR with the tagline “I Choose to Run to Save Lives”, will take off on February 10 in Dagupan City Plaza and SM City in Rosales town.
Florame Magalong, chapter administrator of PRC- Pangasinan, said the first MVR held in December 2011 was a huge success with the participation of some 450,000 runners.
The MVR, which will be conducted simultaneously nationwide, is one way of showing the public’s commitment in uplifting the lives of their vulnerable brothers through the spirit of volunteerism, Magalong added.
Registration for the various events are P300 for the 3-kilometer run; P350 for 5K and; P400 for 10K. A Kiddie category for the 3K run will also be held and registration is pegged at P180.
