SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union, Jan. 8 (PIA) — The Civil Service Commission 1 (CSC-1) will be awarding the certificate of eligibility to those who pass the career service examination-paper and pencil test last October 21, 2012, which be held at the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University-Mid La Union Campus covered court on January 10.
According to the CSC, those who obtained the eligibility have chances for government entry-level jobs and clerical work.
Liwayway Lunas Navalta, CSC-1 Chief Personnel of Examination Services Division said 143 individuals in the region will be given the certificate under the sub-professional level while 543 individuals on the professional level.
For the sub-professional passers, there were 50 in Pangasinan; 34 in La Union; 28 in Ilocos Sur and 31 in Ilocos Norte.
Similarly under the professional level, Pangasinan province has 185 passers. For La Union, 132; Ilocos Sur, 90; and Ilocos Norte, 136.Further, she noted that they will also be providing certificate of eligibility to 24 passers of Penology Officer Examination held last August 12 this city.
The penology officers may acquire for second level ranks in the jail and penology and functionally-related services only, apart from ranks under the Philippine National Police, CSC cited.
Navalta moreover, said that the issuance of certificates will be handed by CSC-1 Acting Director IV Nelson G. Sarmiento. (ANL/MHH-PIA 1 La Union)
