Celso Manuel, president of PUNP, said the conduct of the half-day seminar is very timely in the organization’s desire to further professionalize the media industry in the province.
Resource speakers for the seminar include multi-awarded investigative journalist and Ateneo lecturer Luz Rimban of the VERA Files and Secretary–General Rowena Paraan of the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines.
The journalism seminar, sponsored by the PUNP in cooperation with the Philippine Press Institute (PPI), will have Gov. Amado Espino Jr. as the event’s guest of honor.
