The new system will be implemented this month, said Lilia Anguluan, Pag-IBIG Fund department manager in La Union during a Fund Coordinators’ Club (FCC) La Union Chapter meeting.
Fund coordinators of the government agencies, local government units, and the private sectors took part in a meeting.
Under this system, all records will be integrated at the main office in Makati City.
The members can also avail themselves of the multipurpose loan through this system anywhere in the Philippines, she added.
Of the 111,684 members in La Union only 50 percent or 55,842 are now registered online as of April this year, said Rachel Gallano of the Pag-IBIG Fund Marketing Division. She also urged employers and employees to register with the agency.
Other activities undertaken during the meeting include Acquired Assets Disposal Program, Revised New Housing Loan Guidelines, Non-performing Assets Resolution Program (NPARP), and Enforcement of Republic Act 9679.
